The Wild Animals is a Bulgarian NGO registered with the Central Registry of the Bulgarian Ministry of Justice for Non-profit Public Benefit Organisations. It was founded in 2013 with an official resolution under court file No. 527/2013 of the Sofia City Court, with BULSTAT No.: 176541536, and with seat and management address at: Sofia 1784, Mladost 1 residential district, building 50, floor 2, apartment 39.
Our missions are preserving biodiversity, helping the survival of wild animal species in Bulgaria and increasing the ecological literacy of Bulgarian citizens
The organization’s main objective is rescuing, providing foster care for injured and orphaned animals, and returning native animals to the wild. Alongside this we support the competent authorities responsible for environment protection on cases of vulnerable and endangered species threatened by human activities and natural hazards.
Our final goal is the establishment of a rescue center near Sofia, which will be a first of its kind in Bulgaria, where we will admit and take care of diverse animal species, regardless of their conservation status.
