Being a volunteer with The Wild Animals is dynamic, interesting, diverse, and rewarding for those who remember that even the smallest act of help is still help for animals in need and who do not expect volunteering to be only about touching or handling animals.

Our work relies mainly on the voluntary efforts of dedicated people who, with enthusiasm and goodwill, support our mission to rescue wild animals, often at the cost of their personal time, or despite the lack of it.

Volunteers drive almost every aspect of our organization’s activities, although some tasks are more popular among volunteer candidates and don’t require as many people.

At the moment, we mainly need people to transport injured animals and to respond to specific rescue calls, which may involve locating and retrieving animals from the places where they have become trapped or stranded. Transporting does not necessarily require a car—you don’t have to be a driver. Within the city, it’s perfectly acceptable to use public transport for this purpose.

If you would like to help us through volunteer work, please fill out the short form and describe your skills and knowledge. We will contact you to discuss how you can be of help.
