A Hermann’s tortoise, Zharava (Еmbers) is a victim of one of the fires in the Rila Mountains. It was taken out of the flames by a firefighter, and the corpses of other tortoises, which did not live to be found alive, were smoldering around it.
Zharava is badly burned, the tissues of the legs and neck are literally falling apart. The eyes are also affected, it is not clear whether the damage is permanent.
All this from a cigarette or a spark from something ... All this is the work of one person, careless or negligent.
