Patients news < BACK

Oaky and Beechy are two baby badgers, only a couple days old. At this age, they do not have the capacity to even crawl, so it is very unlikely that they crawled away from their sett on purpose.

Oaky and Beechy were found in weird circumstances, outside their sett, in the grass near a road. Badger moms transfer their babies to another sett only in extreme cases - for example, floods or something similar. It seems that the case here is not of this kind.

What happened to their badger clan (their family) remains a mystery. We do not have a clue where the badgers were actually found.
